There is a lot to learn about old houses: how they were built, maintenance, and how to fix the many thing that break all the time. But the way I see it, learning about your house goes beyond that. How was the house used? Where did ye olde timey residents spend their time? What did their furniture look like? Also, who lived in the house? What were they like? So yeah, there is a lot to lean. And a lot of places to find the info.
